This is a response to ALL the responses on my “why raking leaves is dumb” blog entry.

RULE 1 – THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG

If your too dumb to understand this and already want to disagree then this blog and life may just not be your thing. There is no right or wrong in life (murder is wrong, murder is right, its all about who you ask or which politician your voting for) its all bullshit and as soon as you want to call me out on the fact of taking a side, you yourself have now done the same mistake. I personally take sides because well

If you cant take handle taking a side and want to sit on the fence criticizing both oppositions with no answers or solutions to offer (or even original thought) then perhaps you belong here, rather then this blog.

So when you people want to argue the whole leaves thing,

#1 im just as right as you are,
#2 im arguing it from a natural grass perspective, im really sorry if I dont care about how it affects the value of your house but guess what, my article wasn’t called “Dont rake your leaves so your house value goes up“, my fucking argument is if nature didnt fucking put grass there, then why the fuck are you putting grass there?. If it cant survive without your help then it shouldnt survive. There are people starving in this world but were all too fucking busy with our lawn care to give a damn. I’m sure all the people taking time out of their day to tell me how dumb I am spend just as much money on africa as they do their lawns…

RULE 2 – YOUR NOT GOING TO CHANGE ANYTHING

Your comment will not change my view on things or anyone else’s. If your IQ is soooo fucking high that you have to bring it up (you fucking retards, you honestly think BRINGING UP YOUR IQ ON THE INTERNET IS GOING TO MAKE YOUR OPINION NOW MORE CORRECT!??!, now you just did a great job telling everyone your 14years old) then maybe you should be smart enough to keep your thoughts and feelings to yourself. Be humbled by the fact your life means nothing and never will.

This is my fucking blog and your opions are so fucking great and superior then your welcome to keep those thoughts on your blog.  Im sorry for all the swearing and negativity but honestly, I’m only 19 and I imagine most you people responding are older then myself, and the responses have simply been so stupid I have to ask myself if the older generations deserves to live. Right now I say no, and the next blog entry will tell you why.

Simpsons recreate Pink Floyd album art

To help promote the release of Fox’s Simpson’s Movie, they have flow a giant sized ‘Spider Pig’ (a character from the movie) above London’s Battersea Power Station as done by Pink Floyd in 1977 with their album artwork for ‘Animals’.

Led Zeppelin Nail Show + LIVE VIDEO

Well Led Zeppelin have finished their Reunion show. The band played alot of their greatest hits and some less popular ones such as “In my Time of Dying” (a personal favorite), many did not think they would pull it off but fans left saying their where better now then in the 70’s. With that sort of positive feedback its going to be hard to believe a tour is not ahead. A DVD is said to becoming out from the show and I’m sure they will work to have it out before Christmas. Western Media and the Thailand Jihad

The news. For some of us its 30 minutes a night. Others it 30 minutes a week. That is not a lot of time to cover everything going on around the world. So what else is going on in the world other than the DOW dropping, the War in Iraq, the iPhone sweeping the nation, etc. Are we expected to believe the rest of the world is at peace and concerned with the same things as the western society?
I am in no way an expert on the subject of Western Media or expert in the news and whats going on in the world today. But I have however stubbed across a interested story that I’m having trouble finding information about.

The Thailand Jihad

Muslim attacks on Buddhist Monks, teachers, policemen, and farmers. Its rather a complex issue so I will do my best to make it appear black and white.

Buddhism has neary disappeared from India because of the Muslim invasion. There is a mass destruction of Buddhist temples and statuary. In May 2001 two of the world’s tallest ancient Buddha statues, the Buddas of Bamyan, were completely destroyed by the Taliban (muslim) in Bamyan, Afghanistan.

Theres no doubt about it, Apple is one of the largest and most successful companies in the world today. It claims to be one of the greenest but is this true or simply a clever marketing tactic?

Lets take a look at the pros of Apples efforts to be a greener company. Here are my top 3 pat on the backs for Apple.

1. Responsible Manufacturing
2. The Apple Recycle Program
3. Efforts for Energy Efficiency

Now is there business opportunity in these green solutions?

1. Responsible Manufacturing
   

Responsible Manufacturing is not really that brilliant of an idea. Make a smaller product that uses less stuff and we will have to buy less stuff. So your wondering why this is number one? Well actually rather than being about cutting down stuff its more about what stuff your counting back. Below is a image from the apple site.

So you can see the improvements and how they cut materials and cost. Theres nothing wrong with this infact many more companies should be smart enough to adapt the same idea. Below this image is a list of substances banned from Apple products. You get the idea from that. Theres some nasty stuff in there and it simply is not removed by chance. Apple is clearly making a effort to be greener.

Lamb of God praised for lack of orgionality

So lets break things down…

• Lamb of God is not having their albums proffesionally mastered to save money opps i mean so you the fans can do it
• Nine Inch Nails actully didnt already do this ….that was different right?
• This will result better mixes of the music by 14 year olds kids with garageband rather then a trained proffesional on a protools system

So now lets look at this agian. Lamb of God is doing nothing orgional, Nine Inch Nails have done this long ago and nothing good is going to come from it. This article should not have been homepage material.
If your a fan of the band this is a cool thing for a fan, but im sure the LOG fans would rather have this album released for fans to remix aswell as remixed and proffesional remix.
Lets face the fact that 95% of people who remix these tracks will try a few things and after 10 minutes give up and go back to playing xbox.

LOG should send $1 to trent of NIN for every download and another $5 for everything I site like UG covers the story, seeing as it was his idea

Leaves fall to the ground every fall and land on people lawns, much like your own. Dumb people like you rake these leaves up with your Walmart rakes, and put them in paper bags at the curb to be picked up by large trucks. These gas guzzling large trucks will drive all around your neighborhoods picking up these leaves and then transporting them to a landfill where they will decompose. Because these leaves do not decompose on your lawns and in your flower beds, the nutrition these leaves hold is not returned to the soil from which it came. Thus fore you are breaking up the natural cycle of life and pollution the environment with your trucks and rakes. Now when spring comes and the snow metals (huh what? Why don’t you shovel snow off your lawns? O that’s right its good for your lawn like the leaves) and you see all your grass is dead you freak out and go buy lawn products from the same Walmart you bought the rake and pour it all on your lawn to help it grow. Worse then that you go buy compose for your gardens and lawns to help them grow. In case you are too dumb to figure it out by now I will point out the obvious, the compose your are buying is in fact made from your very leaves your raking up this fall. So basically you are raking your leaves, to give to these companies with your rake which you also bought from them, so that you can buy your composed leaves back from them for a lot more then your charged them, which was free. So now you are paying money to these companies for your leaves.
You people are dumb and are screwing the planet over. No one cares about what your lawn looks like in October, you are not special and no one goes around judging people on how their lawn looks. If your one of these people, go get a life cause your 1/6000000000 and when you die, you and your lawn will be forgotten.
Leave your leaves on your lawn this fall and help the environment out.

Live Earth Failure

 

Well Live Earth is over and I fail to see any changes made. Live Earth was a world wide concert designed to change our habits and increase awareness. Now I don’t think Global Warming needs more awareness. I’m pretty sure we have all heard about global warming. What we needed was someone to come out and say “Hey we have like 10 years before the planet is completely dead and we all die so get off your asses and do something” and of course what do they do? Put Kelly Clarkson on stage to sing and between songs all she can talk about is how great her band is and how nicely the stage is decorated. Seriously, the entire world is watching you and you can’t even say ”lets try to save energy” or anything along those lines. Honestly if you dont care about the cause don’t play the show. I think they could have been just as successful taking a little piece of paper with 10 things you can do to help and put it inside of every CD case so when you buy one of these artists albums you are reminded how you can help. Or 10 things you can do could be put on fast food joints cups or their fries packaging. I think constant reminders is the best way to change a habit rather than one day of concerts.
An estimate reported that 100,000 planted trees are required to offset total carbon emissions produced during the entire event.

Heres 10 things you can do to help with the Climate Change

1. Switch off your computer, TV, lights and other equipment when you leave work.
2. Use energy saving lightbulbs.
3. Put your wash on at 30C.
4. Share lifts to school or work.
5. TurnTVs and other electrical equipment off when you’re not in.
(Leaving things on sleep mode or standby uses up the same energy as one nuclear power station)
6. Use reusable bags when going to the supermarket not plastic bags.
7. Recycle everything you can.
8. Have showers instead of baths. But not long power showers. They’re worse.
9. Only use the amount of water you’ll drink in a kettle.
10. If you’ve got a garden, compost your food. (We throw away nearly seven million tonnes of grub every year. It ends up on landfill sites generating methane. That adds to global warming more than any other gas)
